| Most notable are the many things still in the future. The condominiums at the corner of Atkinson, for example. And the Ala Moana Hotel. There are few visible high rise buildings in Makiki or along the slopes of Punchbowl. And Ala Moana Center appears under construction. I'm puzzled by the corner of Hobron Lane and Ala Moana (in the foreground at bottom of the photo) which looks like it's still be a construction zone. |
