Still waiting for Iselle

We managed to go out for an abbreviated walk this morning in the shadow of Tropical Storm Iselle. We left the house about 6:20 a.m., took a few photos at Swanzy Beach Park, then headed for home again.

There was heavy cloud cover and intermittent rain, with some wind, but nothing serious. Yet.

By 7 a.m., after we were back home enjoying a cup of coffee, the rain started picking up.

We’ll just hunker down today, for sure.

There’s a storm a comin’

Tropical Storm Flossie is heading our way, and as a result, dawn in Kaaawa this morning was pretty spectacular.
