By this time I was out of food inspriation, and settled for simple comfort food--meatloaf, baked potatoes, carrots and three bean salad, a nice red wine, and Silverman. An earlier description of this meal brought a values-clarifying reply from Nancy C:
"So your birthday dinner wasn't "inspired." So what? I would have loved it if the love of my life, Curtis Lono Victor, could have shared my birthday dinner with me in June, but he couldn't because he succumbed to congestive heard failure last Sept. 23. That's all I want, for him to be there one more time. We can have hot dogs, I don't care. Cat food, even.
It's not the food, it's whom you're with, ya big goof. :-)"
That just about says it all. Thanks for coming along for the ride. See you next year.
