I cooked a turkey yesterday for Thanksgiving, and my sister drove my mom out for a mid-day meal. The rest of the day was spent in recovery mode, and after a Netflix movie, it was off the bed. But when we got to the bedroom, this was the scene. I guess it was one of the first chilly nights of the season, and the cats came seeking warmth.
You’ll probably have to click for a better view. There were five cats already asleep on our bed. Duke, Wally, Kili, Toby, and even Mr. Silverman. Romeo is on the floor, in the lower right of the picture, trying to decide where he could stake out a spot. And Meda and I were, well, wondering if there was any room at all for the people!
It’s typical to have two cats on the bed, not at all unusual to have three, but we rarely get one of these five or six cat nights.
In any case, welcome to another Feline Friday.

Your Mom petting the cat from the table was the best, though the cat licking his or her nose took a close second.
Thanks. It was a nice moment when she reached down, first to slip Toby a bit of turkey and then to pet him.
Usually the cats disappear when anyone else comes over, so staying around was a compliment.
