Feline Friday was missing in action last week while I was traveling. But we’re back!

Duke had another veterinary emergency this week. He was acting funny on Monday. Strange behavior. I was home. Meda was at the university and had the car. Luckily, I was able to get a quick appointment with one of our favorite vets, and found a friend able to drive Duke and me out to Hawaii Kai.

A blood test revealed an unspecified infection and high white blood cell count. He got an antibiotic shot. I’ve got to keep an eye on him, and I’ll take him back for a recheck the end of next week. He’ll be 17 at the end of April. Hopefully we can quickly locate this infection and get it back under control.
