So…Friday has rolled around again and, as usualy, with it comes Feline Friday!

Kali was asserting herself a bit more this week. I had noticed it earlier, but it became apparent in the photos. You’ll notice she made more than her share of appearances this week.

Unfortunately, she and Kinikini both hid when the person responsible for rescuing them from the cat colony in Aiea and placing them in this Kahala cat heaven came for a visit. His first site visit since he contacted us about adopting The-Cat-Now-Known-as-Kali back in the fall of 2020. Last year, we took two more of the colony cats, Kinikini and Bessie, again on his referral.

So Wednesday was the day he came over to see first-hand how they’re doing in their fancy new digs. And what happened? Kinikini went into deep hiding. Kali crawled under the futon and came out only once to peek out into the living room before racing back into hiding.

Only Bessie acted like a somewhat normal cat, and came out to greet him. She rescued the morning, truth be told.

In any case, get ready! Here come the cats.
