Yes, it’s a holiday in Hawaii (Statehood Day) as we celebrate and/or observe the 50th anniversary of legally becoming a state. But it’s also another Feline Friday, a regular weekly feature, so time for another gallery of our favorite cats which, it so happens, are the eight that we live with.

This is Mr. Romeo.

He’s unfortunately decided that the defense of this territory rests on his shoulders. It’s unfortunate because while he’s a big cat, he really isn’t a good fighter. Somehow he seems to lose every time he gets in a fight.
