It has turned into a beautiful clear day, but it started with a band of dark clouds sweeping rain in from the ocean, at least in our section of the windward side.

This was the view around 6:15 a.m. as we walked along Kamehameha Highway to a point where we could get down to the beach.

The rain, and gusty wind, hit about five minutes later. We got very wet, despite our umbrellas. But we made it through the walk, as usual. Rain or shine.
