We had just gotten down to Swanzy Beach Park yesterday morning when the rain hit. It was a driving rain with strong wind. We stopped to see four of our favorite dogs who live near the park, then tried to plunge ahead. But when the wind threatened to rip our umbrellas apart, we retreated inland to Hauhele Road, just a block in from the ocean. That’s when the rainbows appeared.

We pushed on, and the morning changed. The rain stopped, the cloud moved on, blue sky appeared. It seemed a minor miracle.

This morning (Saturday) was different. Pretty nice from the get-go and it stayed that way. This was the view at Swanzy this morning.
