Here’s the birthday boy himself, stretched out on the floor enjoy the change in weather as daily temperatures rise. I don’t know if we’ll give him a any sort of food treat for his b-day. He’s just starting to show the smallest amount of weight loss after a couple of months on his special MD diet, and we’re trying to encourage that. Luckily for us, he likes this food. Unluckily for us, so does Romeo, who tries to raid Duke’s dish as soon as we look away. So now I spread out eight small bowls, deposit the appropriate amount in each, and then stand guard to make sure Duke gets to finish his special food, or at least all he’s going to eat at this sitting.
