We had a visit yesterday from one of those beautiful peahens and three healthy looking chicks!
It seems that Kaaawa’s population of peafowl is growing! These probably aren’t the only chicks to appear this season. Soon it will be time for a census.

Better quit publicizing them or Mufi’s peacock death squad will snuff ’em. Already exterminated the peafowl at Koko Crater. They’re good to eat, by the way. A peacock, like a chicken, is a kind of pheasant. Mufi’s henchpersons probably have them in their freezers.
