Here we are, another fine Feline Friday. It’s wet in Kaaawa and windy. Not a good combination. And to make matters worse, Romeo wasn’t in the crowd when breakfast was served at 5:30 a.m. and he hasn’t appeared in the 30 minutes since.

This is not good. He was in a fight with an unknown opponent just over a week ago. The symptoms? He missed one meal, then wanted to just sleep for a day. He didn’t appear to have any serious injuries, although he was scratched up. It’s hard to find the scratches until they scab over after a couple of days. In any case, he’s been fine since. Then goes missing again. Now we have to go on alert, both for Romeo and this other unseen cat.
