Time to greet a bunch of our favorite Kaaawa dogs.
Every day, we walk down to the beach and across to the other end of Kaaawa around sunrise. At first, I carried a dog biscuit or two for dogs we knew. Slowly the list expanded until there were dozens of morning dogs looking forward to our arrival each day. We now have to vary our route to limit the daily cost in dog biscuits.
When buying the big boxes of dog biscuits at Costco, we’re often asked how many dogs we have. “We don’t have a dog,” I answer, then try to explain the situation.
In any case, this is Mr. Fisher. He’s a very effective biscuit begger. But there are a lot more dogs to see.

What exactly is Mr. Murphy’s breed provenance? I see German Shorthaired Pointer and some sort of spaniel mix. A spaniel/pointer mix would be consistent in terms of temperament, but in terms of physical structure it would be potentially awkward. His legs are long and his neck is short.

I think that exploring the political and economic underbelly of energy development in contemporary Hawaii has captured the imagination of an otherwise unsuspecting population. I have been waiting and hoping for this moment, and following your blog and contributing to it in hopes that it would capture the third rank of blogs in Hawaii from a popular technology blog. I hope that you can solicit other critical and informed minds on the subject of local energy policy as guest bloggers, in the hopes that you can eventually secure the place of the second and first ranked blogs in Hawaii. Those spots are now occupied by a music lesson and food blog, respectively, I believe. All those other blogs are the opiate of the masses. This is a true blog!
