It was umbrella weather when we started out just after 6 a.m. today, and drizzled through much of the alk to the beach and back.
I took these two photos as we reached the end of the beach and turned back for the walk home. The rainbow was a bonus. I loved the strong light, softened by the clouds and light rain.
Have a great Sunday.

With all of its rate increases, you’d think HECO could find a way to bury those ugly power lines. Outside of that, beautiful photos, Ian!
HECO would rather pay stockholder dividends equivalent to an official annual rate of $1.24 per share, or more than $117 million a year. Why? Because it can.
As one who has endured more than a fair share of lifetime blackouts I urge the tunnel guys to rethink trenched lines (Remember the mess a year ago at Ala Moana, Oahu folks).
In rainy Hawaii, the undergrund lines vare costly to fix and leave costumers/users without power for longer than desired..
We would not need electrical lines in that perfect world. But ours is not perfect.
