Yes, it’s Leap Year. And, yes, that extra day will have passed by the time the next Feline Friday rolls around. And, as you can see, there’s hasn’t been much in the way of “leaping” this week, at least not when the camera was out and about.
But that’s okay.
They’ve still been enjoying themselves. Well, sort of. Mr. Toby still hasn’t figured out the cat doors that went in about nine months ago. So if he’s in the house, he thinks he’s trapped in the house, and if he’s outside, well, he’s stuck outside. A couple of times it looked like he was about to make a mental breakthrough, but then he gave up and walked away from the door.
We thought Duke was also in the same “slow learner” category, but then we caught him sneaking back in through the cat door. So Mr. Toby is the in a class by himself. Perhaps he’s just keeping his knowledge under wraps, and spends time running in and out as soon as we leave the house. But I fear that’s not the case.
Anyway….
