A wet Saturday morning at the front end of what is forecast to be a wet weekend.
The top photo was taken as we walked past Swanzy Beach Park. I was worried about that dark cloud and rain straight ahead on the horizon. Luckily, the wind was coming at a slight angle from the right (East), and that little storm slipped on up the coast towards Punaluu or beyond.

We never did see the sun. It showed up only indirectly, via that warm glow through the clouds in the photo below. And a bit of rain caught us as we walked home, but we managed.

A little rain certainly beats waking up to tornadoes.
