Feline Friday The 13th

Friday the 13thI caught this photo of Ms. Wally while she sat in my lap one morning. She’s on medical watch, although we’re still not sure what the problem is. I have to work to keep her interested in food, and even when she’s interested, she only wants to eat a little bit at a time. Not a problem, except for our two food marauders, the diabetic boys who are always hungry and will push past her to eat her food if I’m not standing guard. It’s gotten to the point where I rely on a temporary lockup. Duke and Silverman have to wait down in our bedroom until Wally is finished eating. Not a perfect solution, but it’s working.

Try to see if she will eat Gerber baby food. Beef, chicken or turkey can stimulate her desire for food. A little expensive, but I think that it can get some good, high quality protein in to her if her body is shutting down for some reason.

    Remote diagnostic guesses:
    Early renal failure
Acid stomach (5 mg famotidine a day can’t hurt)
    Tooth or gum pain
    Early stage diabetes

I’m sure you’ve checked for all but let your instincts guide you not just the test results
    Good luck
