Feline Friday: Romeo extends a welcome

Mr. RomeoMr. Romeo welcomes you to another Feline Friday.

After several weeks of being out and about, and then coming home with assorted scratches, Romeo was good this week.

He spent time outside, but he didn’t seem to get into any more tussles with unknown cats, believed to be from the new neighbors next door. I think they’ve been defining the meaning of the fence between our houses. From our cats point of view, it’s simple. There are some small barking dogs over there. Off limits. On the other hand, I imagine this side of the fence looks pretty good to the big, lazy looking cats on the other side. Hence Romeo’s challenge, to make his yard look less inviting to newcomers.

In other cat news, Wally was found to have a tooth in the process of being “reabsorbed,” and since it’s been bothering her, she’s at the vet today to have it removed. She wasn’t happy at having to skip breakfast today. Hopefully she’ll be fine, and the bad weather currently looming won’t make picking her up a problem.

Beyond that, Toby’s slow today. I think he’s got a big hairball that’s bothering him. Harry is as neurotic as ever. And all else is normal.
