When I see a dog chained up like this with the ground worn bare within his, oh so limited range of movement, I feel really sorry for the animal. This is no kind of life for a dog and, in my opinion borders on abuse. If he slipped his collar (very lose in the picture) and took a hike I wouldn’t blame him a bit.
Of course the other possibility is that he was snatched and will end his life chasing pigs in the mountains. Not such a desirable outcome either.
Has he been found?
