I haven’t checked recently on the progress of Romeo’s “Wake-up Call” video on YouTube. When I checked in this morning, this was what I found: Over 4.1 million hits, and although the number of views each day has dropped, it’s still drawing new viewers! Amazing.
The total viewing time of just over 2.5 million minutes translates to 41,958 hours. That’s the equivalent of 5,244 8-hour work days, or 1,048 full-time working weeks. Or the same as 1,048 people watching the video over and over for 8-hours a day, for a full 5-day work week.
As my mother would have said, “misdirected energy.”
But Romeo appreciates all the attention, nonetheless.

That is what the Japanese call “urusai”. It’s hilarious, and so like a cat that wants . . . whatever . . . food, attention.
