Fight Crime: Can you identify this burglar?

Do you recognize this man? He’s the one that burglarized our home in Kaaawa about noon on Friday, March 14. He spent about 10 minutes in the house, and left with items in a pillow case taken off from the bed.

He did not know that he was being photographed by an automatic, wireless camera.

Who is this man?

I hope to add a few more photos shortly.

We’re offering a $100 reward to the person who provides information leading to the burglar’s identity.

Please email any information to me, ian(at)ilind.net, or call 808-955-1819.

And pass the word (and the photo), please! Someone is going to recognize him.

What a violation of your privacy and your property! Your cats who were inside must have been terrified. It’s a clear photo. Hope someone tells you who he is. In the meantime, please get some kind of alarm system for your house.

Sorry to hear about the theft. Such a violation!
But a great pic of the perp. Mind sharing info about the equipment? Would be nice to have.

I shared this on FB, and now I see that some of my O‘ahu friends saw it and shared it as well. Good for you for getting a picture. Somebody knows this guy and I hope you (well, ultimately the police) find him.

Hope you don’t mind me sharing it. I got cousins that live in Kaaawa next to the house that was filmed in Hawaii 5-0

His clothes are stained with paint and perhaps other construction material. This could be a clue on who he is.
