Yesterday, my blog went “down” because of a glitch at my hosting service. It got solved in short order.

But when I went to add a new post this morning, I got back an error message, “404.”

So I got back in touch with the hosting service, and let them know that this must be related to whatever they had to do yesterday. That was early this morning. It’s now mid afternoon, and problem still not solved.

I usually post using MarsEdit software on my Mac. Today I also tried via WordPress on my iPad. Both produced the same result. Any attempt to post, or to update the list of past posts, gets that dreaded error.

I’m trying to post this message from the WordPress “dashboard.” I don’t know if it will work. If it does, at least you know today’s silence has been due to technical problems.

Now to see if using the dashboard is a workaround for this problem.
