Sunday morning is a good time for another check-in with some of our many Kaaawa dogs.

We buy large boxes of big dog biscuits from Costco, and invest in 2-1/2 pound bags of “Yummy Chummies” (salmon dog treats), but we live in an all-feline household.

The various treats are for all the dogs we’ve gotten to know on the 3-mile route through the neighborhood, down to the beach and back, that we walk every morning.

Ms. Bella is front and center in this picture. She is a really sweet dog with a great temperament. She shares the house with Murphy, who is a little grumpy and seems to almost always feel a need to play the Alpha Dog. They need to see a couple counselor, I guess.
