Here I am–Ian Lind at age 21. I found this among a batch of photos I scanned several years ago.
It was one of a series of pictures I took in and around Kapiolani Park in August 1968. I had spent the 1967-1968 school year at the University of Hawaii, but was returning shortly to Whitman College (Walla Walla, Washington) for my senior year. I don’t recall this photo specifically, but had probably handed my camera to my girlfriend to take the picture.

I too, spent 1967-1968 at UH but returned to California in August 1968. Have returned many times since and here this week 3/16 reminiscing. Aloha!
