Here we are. Another Feline Friday, this time marked by the arrival of Tropical Storm Iselle. At least we expect that it’s now a tropical storm.
For the past day and a half, we were gathering our emergency supplies and moving vulnerable things from around outside the house.
Ms. Harry managed to get herself in the middle of our preparations. In this photo, she’s on the counter with our flashlights, LED battery-powered lantern, a spot of wine, baby food to keep Ms. Wally going, and papaya out of the frame, picked to rescue them from the storm.

Wally is looking slimmer. Has she lost weight?
Unfortunately, she did lose a bit during the week we were away. She needs lots of encouragement to get her to eat, and several small portions seem to work better than a big full bowl. But she’s hanging in there.
What a compelling photo of Ms. Wally. I am holding a good thought for her.
Is Duke as gorgeous in person as he is in his photos?
Definitely, as was his sister.
