Meda has another conference in Auckland coming up in March, and we’re shopping for a hotel somewhere in the downtown area.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Suggest she check with Kayak.com. Our son and daughter-in-law stayed at St. Martins Waldorf apartment hotel and used Jucy car rental. Way cheaper than all U. S. car rental outfits down there. They had their two kids with them so their accommodations may be more than she needs. They had two bedrooms, full kitchen, plenty of room for less than $150 a night!
