It’s Halloween, and Feline Friday. But our cats simply haven’t gotten into the Halloween spirit, so they’re just going to make their regular appearances.

Ms. Wally is the star of today’s feline fotos, featuring in half of the 10 pictures. I grabbed this image when she and Romeo were crashed on our bed as we left for town one morning this week. Here’s what happened. Wally was the first napper to seize the prime bed real estate. As we got really to depart, I noticed that there was a little leftover cat food in one dish, so I took it into the bedroom and offered it to Wally, part of the ongoing special effort to get her to eat whenever possible. She ate some, then turned her nose up at the rest. Romeo responded by jumping onto the bed and moving right into the scene. He finished off the rest of the food, and then went right to sleep. Although you can’t see it in this picture, the cats are crashed out on either side of the empty dish. There’s another shot from above that makes this quite clear!
