Another week, another Feline Friday. This time around, it’s Mr. Romeo’s turn to greet visitors.

This is Romeo’s new favorite spot. In my lap as I sit and type at my computer. For some reason, he really wants to be here in the morning after we get back from our walk to the beach and I begin working on a blog post. He hops up, circles once on my lap, and drops into place, with his head resting on my right arm. Then he purrs, a very loud purr.

Duke often comes over and scratches my leg as if he wanted to come up into the lap as well, but he really doesn’t. He just wants to be in the cone of attention, I think.

Wally is the other lap cat among this cohort. She’s almost constantly looking for a lap, even if she doesn’t always find one.

The others have little interest in laps. Annie, Kili, Toby show no interest in laps whatsoever. Go figure.
