It’s noon in Denver, and we’re at the airport waiting for a flight delayed for a couple of hours.
It could have been worse.
This was the scene as we left Colorado Springs amid a flash flood warning and light snow. The car had been warming up for several minutes, hence the front windshield that was starting to clear.

Our original aircraft was a flight from Orlando to Denver. It was delayed several times, then cancelled, while our flight was on hold. Now it appears they’ve rerouted another aircraft from Los Angeles, that will turn around and take us to Honolulu.
My fingers are crossed!
