This old photo turned up just in time for Christmas!

This was obviously a holiday celebration in the living room of my parents’ little house in Kahala. My parents are joined by a next door neighbor, Ethel Hogg. She and her husband left Hawaii in mid-1955, so this was taken before then. I’m guessing a couple of years before, but that’s just a guess, and it could have been earlier.

It’s nice the see the tree all decked out, although I wish you could see what was under the tree. The light wood cabinet in the background, on the right in this picture, is still in our living room.
