It was bright and hot this morning as we walked the beach shortly after dawn. Did I mention hot? And we’re still a couple of weeks from the official arrival of summer.

As we walked and talked our way up the beach and back, one of our friends commented on a report that 2015 was the hottest year on record in Hawaii, as in many parts of the world. And it promises to be the new normal.

It did make for a beautiful morning. Low tide, absolutely calm ocean. Rich colors.
