Yup. The kitties (and their photographer) didn’t make Friday’s deadline, so this is another Feline Friday on Saturday.

Today’s feature photo is a typical scene. Cat #1, in this case Ms. Annie, finds a good spot to spend some time. She claimed a window sill looking out into the front yard. She gets to watch birds, cars on the street, plants blowing a bit in the wind, people walking past. Lots of color and motion to entertain a cat.

Then, right on cue, Romeo appears. He’s not real pushy. He doesn’t try to swat her in order to claim the window. But he just sidles up to her, not making eye contact, but getting close enough to make her uncomfortable. Eventually she’ll abandon her post and let Romeo take over. This repeats many times a day. Romeo is a jealous boy, for sure.
