Compelling but gruesome story from Williamette Week in Portland, Oregon: “A Hit Man Came to Kill Susan Kuhnhausen. She Survived. He Didn’t. Ten years later, she tells her story.”
She was a nurse, coming home to the house she lived in alone. But that evening in 2006, she wasn’t alone.
A hit man, hired by her ex-husband, was waiting. Drugged up and armed with a hammer.
Only one of them emerged from the house alive.
It’s quite a read.

“Quite a read” sure hits the nail on the head. It also left me lots to think about though I support her action on first thought. Who could just give up and die?
