Cats competing for the afternoon sun has been a theme this week, with several photos of such scenes included among this Feline Friday’s images.

But first, Mr. Romeo. Imagine the scene. I’m sitting at our dining table. We’re starting our meal as Romeo takes up his position alongside my chair, waiting expectantly.

And this is what happens if I don’t take the initiative to give him something off my plate.

That big paw reaches up, claws extended, and grabs on to my leg. Not meaning to hurt, to just remind me that he’s ready and waiting.
