A couple of family photos for Throwback Thursday.
This is my dad’s mother, Jane Galt (Montgomery) Lind at her home in Long Beach, CA, who went by Jeanne. The photo was taken about 1972 when she was 87. She died in 1982 at age 97.
In the second photo, she’s pictured with my dad’s brother, Tom Lind, and his wife, Dorothy.

Love the fireplace. Was this a craftsman home?
It was a 2-story house built by my grandfather, who was a shipwright by trade.
I think a craftsman home would more likely have a fireplace heavily framed in wood. But that’s just my non-expert impression.
