Heleualani Cathcart, my grandmother on my mom’s side, in 1910 (according to the note recorded by my sister, Bonnie, when she scanned the photo).
Lani, on the left with a smile, would have been 22 in 1910.
I think that was the year she got married. Until she was married, she lived at St. Andrew’s Priory. She started there as an infant, cared for by the English sisters, and stayed after graduating.
