Rain interrupted our early morning walk today. We ended up turning around just a half mile from home.

Here are two photos taken from about the same spot at Waialae Beach Park as we were coming and going, and just under 20 minutes apart.

The top photo was taken at 6:55 a.m.

The lower photo was taken at 7:14 a.m.

Somewhere in between, the sun rose and hid behind the clouds. But it did change the scene rather dramatically.
