Another bit of Honolulu’s past

I was hanging up some shirts this afternoon when I noticed this hanger among our collection. I don’t recall when we added it to the collection. But I like it because it is very simple, but tells a lot about the time it was a part of, when Honolulu was a much smaller place than it is today.

    I have small mirror inscribed “M.Yoshioka Seed Store-1179 River St., Honolulu, T.H.-Tel. 55854. It probably belonged to my farmer father and I’ve had it for over 50 years. I love looking at it but not because it is a mirror…
