An early morning rain

We managed to get most of the way back before having to deploy our umbrellas.

As we reached the Kahala Hotel, I looked back at the rain as it approached.

My on-coming view is the Koolau range in back of Manoa: if ya’ can’t see it and Tantulus is fading, ya better head for the nearest garage til it blows over.

Accept and enjoy your blessing gleefully! A little rain in, light of summer is a cool gift of the gods! Ancients saw as very good fortune! Lest we forget, ole Kazu Hayashids from da Board of Water Supply saying we must conserve for decades, due to draught, followed by an Aloha-ized commercial and Mele by Jerry Santos.
Well BS, it wasn’t about water conservation for draught It was so The City could double the number of housing units on Oahu and fool us into paying new sewer bill with water forever more. Old every other month bill $28 for water bill, became monthly $200.00 scheduled up greatly every year.
Auwe Na Hoe! So moral of the story no believe anything. we no longer separate “Water, The Life of Our Land” with its end product. Aloha!
