It’s gray and cloudy this morning. No sunrise colors. Well, except gray.

But it’s still Feline Friday!

Today I’ll start by explaining this photo of Romeo. He’s at the sliding doors that go out to our back deck. He wants to be outside, but he doesn’t. He’s ambivalent because he got spooked the last time I took him out for a long walk around the yard. He was safely in his harness and on a leash, but he got frightened when two people ran past on the street just as we were crossing the driveway. So he is no longer so keen on being out.

But notice in this photo that the doors aren’t tightly closed. You can see daylight between them. And Romeo gets right up next to the doors and puts his nose against that tiny space, apparently getting a few whiffs of the great outdoors. He’ll stay there for a while, until he gets up, looks around, and relocates to a different part of the room. It’s kind of a melancholy scene, I suppose.
