Yes, after several weeks in limbo, Feline Friday is back online!

All the cats have been sick. Annie had to deal with kidney stones and an infection that damaged one kidney. The Boys have had an upper respiratory or sinus infection, and were on their own antibiotics. Annie is feeling markedly better, but still has lots of challenges to face. Romeo seems to have gotten past his sneezing, but he has other background problems that we will now have to address. And we were surprised to find that he apparently tried to push Annie around and got himself kicked around instead! That’s the story we’ve deciphered from the scratches on his head, which clearly seem to be cat scratches. And they are from sharp little claws, like Annie’s, rather than Duke’s big, stubby, “old man” claws. We don’t know when this little clash might have happened, since we’ve had Annie under pretty close observation since she got home from the emergency vet hospital three weeks ago. But there’s no getting around the evidence.

Anyway, here’s a new batch of photos. The first photo of Annie is the last one I have of her before her hospital adventure. You can tell because her right front leg was shaved while she was hospitalized, and that’s visible in subsequent photos.
