“A day at a time.”

That’s how we’re approaching our very senior cats. Each one has a cluster of maladies, none with good outcomes. It’s just a matter of time now, as we know.

But we all do what we can. They rotate around the house, following the sun spots from under the skylights to the various doors that allow afternoon sun to shine in.

I am the medicine giver, not a popular role. But cats have relatively short memories, so I’m typically forgiven before too much time has passed after a daily dose.

In any case, we’re all still here.
