Well, it’s Feline Friday, and time for your regular peek at how things are with the three geriatric cats that share our home.

We’re in for some emotionally challenging times. All three cats are elderly and have “underlying health conditions.” All probably running on borrowed time. Cats are tough, and they hide their ailments as best they can. They’re good until, quite suddenly, they aren’t.

We’re steeling ourselves for those times, which we know are coming. We try our best to repress the foreboding and the sense of losses to come. Our house has become a kitty hospice operation. I guess it’s the best we can do for now. Stiff upper lip and all that.
