Feline Friday: After Annie

Since the last Feline Friday, we had to say goodbye to Annie.

It’s going to take a while to get over her absence absence. Right now, it’s still fresh and painful. Duke and Romeo seem to feel it too, although they may not process what the problem is. The house just feels off balance. We’re used to the extra presence, the habitual check on the three cats. Now only two.

Anyway, it is Feline Friday, despite our recent loss. There are two photos in this collection that were taken late last Friday during an afternoon nap. Annie was sleeping comfortably on the lower spot of her cat tree, a spot she had not slept in before, even when we was so sick over the past several months. I think she just didn’t feel good enough to climb to her regular perch at the top of the tree. Or maybe she just wanted to be closer to Romeo. I just don’t know.

So, without further ado, here come the cats.

    ? so sad.
Dare I say your old fut cats need a kitten in their lives? Preferably a female who will boss them around. There are plenty out there that need adoption.
