Well, Feline Friday is here again. I’m a bit shy on cat photos this week, but we’ll get through this. We’ve got a storm approaching the neighborhood. Quite a beauty, if you’re into storms, I guess.

One of those small dots is Oahu. Hawaii, Maui, and Molokai will feel its effect first. With any luck, they’ll take the steam out of the storm. But, if not….

So I have a day of storm prep ahead. Cleaning up things that can become airborne missiles. Bringing in chairs from the deck. Preparing to install hurricane panels on several windows if the latest forecasts later today don’t bring some optimism that the storm’s track is likely to change. We’ve finished our essential shopping. Now hoping for the best.

So the cats are getting short shrift this week. Hopefully they won’t complain.
