The sun is rising later each day. The best chance of seeing dawn’s colors is already about 30 minutes later than a couple of months ago. We try to adjust our departure time each morning to maximize the dawn, but we like to get out early. And “early” is a moving target when the sunrise changes daily. Somehow we manage!
Enjoy the photos. Dawn and dogs. What a nice combo. And this is from a (nearly) lifelong cat person.
I have to add “nearly” because my mother had a dog when I was a small kid. Kiki died before I was 5, I’m sure, as she is absent from both memories and photos taken when I was that age. I do remember her, and the pain my mother felt when Kiki died. It was too much for her, I’m afraid. She never got another dog, and it was because she couldn’t take that heartbreaking experience again. I’m sorry that she felt that way, and felt it so strongly. We share the pain when one of our cats dies. But that’s the price of all the years of happiness they bring, isn’t it?
Oh, well. Enjoy these photos from early Sunday morning.

Hey Ian, you just admitted to a crime. You can’t walk on the beach with 2. One only…..
Depends how far apart you walk….We are properly distanced, not a group. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
My auntie used to tell my dad that when she dies she wants to be reincarnated as my family dog. We spoiled all of our dogs. Well Auntie passed and we never got another dog so hopefully Auntie got reincarnated as one of your Saturday dogs cause they sure look like happy dogs!
