Yesterday was the end of Week #10 since we brought The-Cat-Now-Known-As-Kali home from Aiea Heights. Sometimes it feels like she’s been here forever. Then it feels like she moved in yesterday. The calendar version is ten weeks. I’ll stick with that.
This week, Kali discovered there are windows throughout the house that offer perches where she can watch the outside world. She started in her “safe” room. Then discovered our bedroom, followed by the living room, kitchen, and finally discovered the window in our laundry room, where she can sometimes lounge on a warm dryer.
Kali has not, however, figured out about our bed. I don’t think it took long for any of our previous cats to figure out that when people are in bed, that’s where they wanted to be. Kali seems to have defined it as Romeo’s turf, and she has only made brief visits, despite lots of coaxing and encouragement.
That’s another thing that will probably happen. Eventually.
Anyway, enjoy the photos!

I’m waiting for the update when Kali officially declares the Lind house as hers!
