You don’t have to wait for it!

The new year happens to begin on Feline Friday, featuring photos of Romeo and Kali taken during the last week of the old year, you know, the one that didn’t endear itself to any of us.

We bid tearful farewells in 2020 to Annie and Duke. That was very hard. Then we added Ms. Kali to the household. That’s been an experience, I have to say. She’s now a full member of the household, and we’re all challenged to adapt.

Kali has an appointment next week for a check-up in advance of her dental work, which is set for the 15th, if I recall correctly. In our Covid constricted lives at the moment, that becomes a big deal.

But apart from that, all is well. We didn’t have much in the way of fireworks in our neighborhood last night, so didn’t have a chance to gauge Kali’s reaction to the noise. That’s a good thing. New Year’s Eve in Kaaawa was always tough on the animals. That’s something I don’t miss.

In any case, say hello to our cats and to the new year, and wave goodbye to 2020.
