Hey, here we are again. You’re lucky. It’s another week of bountiful photos of Romeo and Ms. Kali.
The photos of the two cats close to each other in the sun were taken on two different days. So it wasn’t just a fluke. They are continuing to make little bits of progress.
No other big news to report. Kali continues to keep an eye out for birds on the deck, which send her into her sense memory of hunting behavior. Most of the time, the birds leave when they spot her, just like they tend to disappear when I take Romeo out onto the deck. Those birds are smarter than they sometimes appear! The mynahs have a special set of warning calls when they spot Kali or Romeo, and the whole group immediately responds.
Somehow I don’t think the cats are going to show up with valentines on Sunday. Neither are we, for that matter.
You can’t see this, but Ms. Kali is next to me on her little soft cat bed doing a very big clean. It has gone on and on and on. At one point, she tried to lick my fingers. Well, she didn’t try. She licked my fingers until I pulled my hand out of range. Now she’s starting what seems to be a second round of cleaning, starting with her face, then her belly, then her paws, finally her back and sides. Tail gets special attention, at the tail end, so to speak.
Okay. Enough time wasting. Jump right in to the pictures!
