Yes, Kali is still picking on Romeo, as you can see in a couple of today’s photos.
But I’m pretty sure it’s really play solicitation. If he just raises a paw and taps her back, she immediately backs off. So it’s not fighting, it’s attempted play. It’s just that Romeo, who we think is about 19, is past the playing stage of life.
I’m thinking Kali needs a kitten. But after months of integrating her into the household, thinking of adding another cat right now is difficult. The funny thing is that we got up to 9+ cats when we lived in Kaaawa and for years never worried when we folded another one into the crew.

We have 3 male’s and a 16 year old female. The boys are always picking on her, even when she goes out and gets them rats and lizards. She recently seemed a bit down so I started feeding her a raw egg and that has perked her up.
